Khmer Summit 2027

Nowadays, international gatherings events have become more common especially in the academics' field. The progress is good as it would embrace sharing's among the recent advances in the particular fields or specialties. The problem arises when the organizer incorrectly named the event organized that could create confusion among attendees and participants, especially a very important event namely summits. Summit have its own unique and distinctive features that separates it from other gatherings and events, especially on the part the attendees are the highest leaders of countries, organizations, or the renowned experts in their particular fields. Organizers and public should learn to identify its features to preserve the prestige of the gathering and the true purpose of organizing the summit meeting.

Many of the topics discussed at the ASEAN meetings in Vientiane mirrored those of the past years, namely the civil war in Myanmar and the situation in the South China Sea, indicating ASEAN’s failure to make progress on its most intractable dilemmas. However, a new addition to this year’s summit was the conflict in Gaza, joining the war in Ukraine as a troubling regional conflict threatening to further entrap the global community.
